About me

I'm an Australian Amazon best-selling author of YA and New Adult Fantasy and Fantasy Romance. 
I was born in Fiji but grew up in Melbourne Australia, and am now based in Brisbane.
​Straight after high school I studied Nursing & Midwifery at Deakin University and worked as a Midwife for 8 years before I left Midwifery due to burn out. 
Writing changed my life. It gave me something to live for after the burn out and trauma of working in healthcare from a young age.

I can officially announce that The Archer Princess Trilogy is on its way!!! This is Altara's story and in some ways this can be considered Books 4, 5 and 6 of the "Ellythian Princesess Saga" as it happens at the same time as Saraya's story in the Warrior Midwife. This is also enemies to lovers but with shifters.

Book Two of the Travellers has just been released! I'm so excited about Julia's story and I do think it's even better than book one. It was incredibly fun to write as well. Book Two has released by three and a half months after The Chrysalis Key and I couldn't be prouder of the result. 
I'm SUPER excited to show you all what I have planned next :)

The Pacific Princesses Series has just won its FIFTH award! Can you believe it?! This is the Fae Princesses second award and I can't thank The Reader's Choice Book Awards for the lovely reviews they collected from teachers and students. Earlier this year The Unicorn Princess won Silver in the same competition! Check out the reviews below:

 Imaginative, creative and superbly written, Bali’s second book in the Pacific Princesses series does not disappoint. With some familiar friends from book one, The Fae Princess is full of action, mystery and suspense. Perfect for fans of fantasy fiction, young and old. 
Girl, aged 10. It was really good, I liked how strong and powerful Vidya was and how important friends are. Pancake was funny. 
​Teacher. This is a really imaginative story and we loved all the strange and funny creatures and plants, the quokka’s and yarama’s. It stimulated lots of discussion. We hadn’t read the first book, but it didn’t matter. The story stands alone, although I believe there are references to characters from the first book. My class were enthralled and asked to read the first book after we finished. Whilst I think it is largely aimed at girls, the boys enjoyed it too. Definitely recommend for years 5/6/7.

The Unicorn Princess has just won her THIRD award!!! I can't believe it! We've won BRONZE in the International Reader's Favourite Awards. So stoked! Unfortunately they're not doing an award ceremony this year due to COVID, But I'm still stoked!!

I've received news that The Unicorn Princess has been selected to be on the official reading list on the Victorian Premier's Reading Challenge for 2021. For an indie author this is a big deal! So grateful.

The Mermaid Princess is out! This is my third middle grade book and the third book in the Pacific Princesses Series. Super happy about this one because it's a unique underwater adventure based in and around New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga. I'm so excited for everyone to check it out <3.
